INDICATORS OF INACTIVITY
Losses due to inactivity are measured in unit time and included malfunctions and repair time, adjustment time, Set-Up time are other losses due to inactivity.
SPEED INDICATORS
Speed losses are measured in unit of production, which is the difference between effective production and potential production. Potential production means: production which would be achieving if machines work constantly at optimal standard speed, which is different for each tool.
INDICATORS OF ERRORS
Losses due to errors, are also measured in unit of production. In this case the value obtained is the difference between total effective production and production that meets the customers’ needs.
